September

What is there to remember
about this September?

Let's start with -

Brielle turned 8 on the 6th...

...and was baptized the very next day.

Grandpa Mac baptized her and Grandpa LeDuc confirmed her.

We had to speak at the Saturday evening session of Stake Conference.
Sorry, no pictures of that exciting event. HAHA.

But... we do have a picture of us at Kay and Larry Brown's Farewell.

Another birthday that needs to be remembered -
Sure do love this man! This man? Our prophet, dear!
95 years old

And then, less than a week later, we were celebrating another kid turning 8!
Lincoln on the 12th.

Baptism Day was Saturday, the 14, in Rexburg.

BYU-I began on September 16.
YAY! To the students and that cute new Marketing teacher in the middle!

This is Hayley and Emma's cute room.
(We're guessing that the four boy cousins have rooms that are just as darling!)

Happy Birthday to the oldest grandchild on the 19th.
Twenty-one years ago, he made me a grandma!

Two finals were noted this month...
Our final sibling temple trip before our mission...
and..
Our final trip to the Salt Lake Temple before it closes for renovation.

This was made even more special because we also had 5/10 of our children with us. Or, I guess you could say that half of you were there. Anyway, it was very nice!

One step closer to saying good-bye...
Our mission farewell was a rousing success. 😊
We were so grateful for all the family and friends who were able to join us on the 22nd. The weather even cooperated! We counted 79 at the brunch.
(With our mission buddies Kay and Larry Brown and the Vittorazzos)

(Aunt Pam and Aunt Jean with Jan)

(We were all college roommates 50 years ago! Linda, Cynthia, Sandy, and Susan.)

 (The Brothers Four)

 (The college cousins)

The "Birthday Bird" made one final visit this month. Happy Birthday to Shelley!
Forty-two looks good on you, Shelley Kay!

As for sports - we have enjoyed evenings with Kimba's family watching Tyler's flag football games.

Well, another month is in the history blog. This will be it for this blog for the next twelve months.
Our new blog will take its place -
lisbonmcmission.blogspot.com
See ya there!!!
