After eleven days in the hospital, Bruce was ready to be released. So...we picked him up and whisked him down to Springville for Jenna's play on the 5th. She was the Sugarplum Fairy in Shrek.
(She's the one in pink.)
This month the birthday bird only had to make one stop!
Happy Birthday to David (38) and Finn (17)
on the 10th.
It was fun getting together at Kimba's for a little Utah group celebration - even if we did have to keep our distance and wear our masks!
On the 20th, President Nelson invited us to share the power of gratitude by flooding the media with a wave of things for which we were grateful.
It was more like a tsunami!
“Counting our blessings is far better than recounting our problems. No matter our situation, showing gratitude for our privileges is a unique, fast-acting, and long-lasting spiritual prescription.” —President Russell M. Nelson
I don't know about y'all, but I loved checking Facebook and Instagram each day. This has been such a rough year, but that week of gratitude journaling provided a real boost to my spirit.
On par for the year 2020, Thanksgiving was
just.not.the.same!
But...celebrate we did.
And...lest we forget...
I have pictures to prove that a good time was had in spite of it all.
(Mom, Dad, Kimberly, and Bruce)
(Ryan, Shelley, Seth, Erin, and David)
We visited Alex and Amanda in their cute little apartment.
And spent the night with Amber, and Dave, Lincoln, Oliver, Ruby, and Dexter.

As for the Hayley pics, well, when we got to her apartment, we found that her roommate had returned to school with Covid (I know!) so we left lickety-split. Sorry Hayley. Hope you remain healthy and well.
Thanks.
Thus ends the month of Thanksgiving.
The best month is yet to come!!!!
