June

Hello June!

Dad has the yard looking all spruced up. All ready for the summer visitors!

June started with Emily turning 44 on the 1st and Geoff turning 48 on the 2nd...

...and CCC finally retiring!!! Her children surprised her with a party/luncheon for friends and family.

Our big news, of course, was...
another mission opportunity.
LISBON PORTUGAL TEMPLE
I hope I'm ready for this!
Ready or not, here we go.
We'll be leaving on October 13th.
What a way to celebrate our 46th Anniversary!

Speaking of anniversaries (ours was June 11th), Nathan and Kristy celebrated 22 years on the 13th.

Amber and Dave celebrated a whole 9 years of wedded bliss on the 26th.

David's BIG NEWS was a new job with Medpace (as a clinical trial monitor) and his relocation to Texas.

But first...one last round of RB Floats for the big send-off.

And then...
 So long, David and Christa.

Thanks for helping, Bruce.

And lucky little Zander got to spend a few days with Grandma and Grandpa.
(I don't know who looks more excited about this. Ha)

Happy Father's Day to Don, Ryan, Geoff, Nathan, and Dave!

To our 6 lucky kids - you have a really great dad!

And to lucky me, I have a really great husband!

Besides getting a new summer shirt and a delicious fruitcake - yes, you can order fruitcake from Amazon any time of the year! - he got this really cool golf bag.

Sean, Tyler, and Esplan participated in Track Camp.
We were there to support the little fellas.

Brielle enjoyed everything about the events - except being there!

Our final highlight -
a visit with our Temple Recorder/Bishop/Friend
Cleto Oliveira and his wife Ana Màrcia.
We enjoyed lunch with them and our other two American missionary couples - Kay and Larry Brown and Dianne and Wayne Mathis.

We found this "temples around the world" map in the Joseph Smith Building.
Lisbon Temple - HERE WE COME!

And now...ready or not...here comes July!!

April

Seven birthdays this month - count them! Nathan celebrated year 49 on the 1st. Elder Sean turned 20 on the 7th. Happy 25th birthday to Emm...
