July

We began the month with a bang
- a quick trip to Rexburg -
with the RJMs and GCGs.

And we returned to Morgan just in time to celebrate July 4th on the 3rd.

The day was spent at East Canyon Reservoir.

Then we returned home for a BBQ, more swimming, and a movie night.

(The Carver/McClellan Clan made for a lively celebration!!)

Meanwhile in Rexburg...
No baby yet.

We packed a lot into the final two days of the Texas kid's visit..

And, yes, the baby did finally come!
We welcomed little Patrick Jameson Rowe into the world on July 7, 2021.

Not to be outdone, Alex and Amanda welcomed little Murphy into their family!😊

But wait! They weren't the only ones to get a puppy. The GCGs welcomed little Sammy, as well.

Other noteworthy events for July included...

to Alex and Amanda on the 3rd.

...and happy 25 years to Emily and Geoff on the 18th.

Our birthdays this month...
Yay for Patrick on the 7th!

Amanda turned 23 on the 17th.

Alex turned 22 on the 30th.

Other travelers (besides the Texas group) this month...

Kimberly was able to get away for a couple of days with friends.

The KJLs enjoyed a week in Texas with their cousins.

Dad was asked to go to Girls' Camp and teach them about the stars.
We have a cute bunch of girls and, since it was being held  at Bear Lake, we were able to take a mini 'staycation' overnight.

Famous raspberry shakes and a motel that looked like it came right out of the 50s.
(They called it a vintage classic. I called it old and without amenities.)

Anyway...on the way home we stopped in Randolph. I wanted to show Dad the house where Kathy grew up, however, it had been torn down.
But...who knew...Wilford Woodruff and his third wife actually lived in Randolph for awhile.
Well, now you know.

That's it for July.

Don't worry...we still have August!
Can't wait to see what is to come!

June

We began our month with two birthdays.

Emily turned 46 on the 1st. Geoff turned 50 on the 2nd.

We enjoyed a very busy week with the Rowes and their Utah cousins.
Chick-fil-A, splash pads, snow cones, basketball...
a trip to the dump...
horseback riding...

and a trip to the zoo, zoo, zoo...

That was followed by... our week with Erin...and a short visit with David.

We filled the 'Erin' week with...
This is the Place monument and park...

...a visit to temple square...

the Morgan Marathon...

and gnomes, basketball, and dominoes.

Then, Ryan and Shelley and Emily and Mac came.

This was also a month of wedding anniversaries.
Nathan and Kristy celebrated 24 years on the 13th.

Don and Linda celebrated 48 years on the 11th.

Amber and Dave celebrated 11 years on the 26th.

But wait, there's still more. We're not done with the Texas people visit.

A quick trip to Provo - via the back way - landed us in Heber for some wonderful Granny's shakes.

And, once in Provo, we were able to stop by  Moon's Rare Books.

(This is for Lincoln. Yay for Harry Potter!!)

Back in Morgan, the guys played some golf at Round Valley
.
Finn definitely had the jazziest golf shirt!

Then we took on the miniature golf challenge.

Geoff was our last Texas kid to arrive.

Mexico seemed to be the vacation destination for the extended family this month.

Ryan and Shelley went to Puerto Vallarta

The CGCs chose Riviera Maya.

All this fun and excitement spilled over into July. But, of course, you will have to wait another 31 days to relive those adventures.
Until then...

April

Seven birthdays this month - count them! Nathan celebrated year 49 on the 1st. Elder Sean turned 20 on the 7th. Happy 25th birthday to Emm...
