Each month just seems to get busier and busier. How can that be?!
Anyway...

Anyway...
We began August with
The Sibling Temple Trip
to the Brigham City Temple.
Followed by the Brazilian Temple Trip
to the Jordan River Temple.
Having Christian with us made it even more special!
The Morgan County Fair had some great entries this year. Just take a look.
This is Esplan's quilt.
And this is Finn's quilt and art work.
Some remnants of the Wallace R. Clark family held a little reunion this month. Aunt Jean was there with some of her family...and Grandma's family was represented by Don and Linda, Dallan, LuAnne and Clint, and Janeane. Thou few in number, it was fun catching up.
Seth and Christian's Mission Homecoming Talks were both on the same day - August 11 - but different locations - Allen and Morgan. Splendid talks and great food for all who attended.

This is the southern group.↓
August 12th
Happy Anniversary to these two. Twenty-three years for Ryan and Shelley.
Our trip to San Francisco to meet with the Consulate of Portugal was a rousing success.
We 💙 SF!
Kay and Larry Brown will be our mission buddies once again in Portugal.
The DARs have officially moved to Rexburg. They are still "acclimatizing" - it would appear.
Elder and Sister Harris returned from their Military Relations Mission in Hawaii.
Welcome home, Russ and Laura!
BYU Education Week
Always a treat!
We learned about ancient and modern temples, the House of Israel, the Holy Ghost, the Book of Revelation, Holy Envy for other churches, signs of the times, revelations, being seekers of truth, and so much more.
A 'feast' of learning, to be sure!
And it's Back to School for these guys...
Mac started Kindergarten.
Erin - our beautiful 8th grader.
New school for these two.
1st grade for Oliver.
2nd grade for Lincoln.
Our Layton Lancer - Joseph (10th)
(That's one excited kid!)
Sean the 8th grader.
Tyler in 6th.
Precious Brielle - our 2nd grader.
Finn began 10th grade. Esplan started 7th.
Not to be forgotten - little Ruby is our youngest back-to-schooler.
And these three are BYU bound - Christian, Michael, and Seth.
The
Birthday Bird
visited three family members this month...
Ruby who turned 4 on the 25th.
And...
Esplan who became a teen-ager on the 26th, along with his mom who turned the big 41.
Yay Kristy!
This is always very special - to share an evening in the temple with those we love so much.
Happy Celebrations in Texas!
Our dear Elder Gillespie returned on the 28th.
He served well in the Alabama Montgomery Mission - finishing up in the Arkansas Little Rock Mission.
(Say WHAT?!)
The results of the "Holy War"
between
BYU and the U of U...
...were not all that good for those cheering on the Cougars.
30-12
A good time wasn't really had by all, if you consider the final score. But the company was great!
And Finally -
it was
Festa Festa Time
with the Vittorazzos.
Raquel made a delicious Brazilian meal, complete with feijoada, salad, Guarana, and maracujá pudding.
It was fun to share the day with Ryan and Kimba.
And finally, finally, we bid farewell to Ryan after enjoying his presence these last 8 days.

(FYI, we're looking forward to the September visitors, as well!)
Well, we did it.
Another month accounted for.
We're already gearing up for a September to remember.
See ya in another 30 days.
