August

The summer is winding down.
Let's see what the McFamily has been up to in these final days of summer...

David treated us to a visit, right off the bat.

After dinner, we were able to take him to the newest, hottest spot in town - the Milk Barn - for some fabulous ice cream.

We even got a little pickle ball in before he and Christa had to leave.

The Morgan County Fair was over-whelming, as usual! 😂

...We met Ainsley...

Sue came up and taught us the finer points of pickle ball.

August 12th were celebrations for two of our favorite couples...

One year and counting for Christian and Dayah...

and a few more and counting for Ryan and Shelley!

Ruby is now 8 and great! That happened on the 25th.

And one day later, on the 26th, Esplan turned 17 and Kristy turned 45.

The most wonderful time of the year...

Just look at these happy and excited kids!

Senior year for Erin...

...Fourth grade for Mac...

...Kindergarten year for Dexter...

...2nd grader Ruby...

...and our 5th grader Oliver...

...6th grade for Lincoln...

...Junior year for Esplan...

...and back for more post graduate work for Finn...

...6th grade for Brielle...

                 ...Sophomore year for Tyler...

...and senior year for Sean.

And let's not overlook the mamas who also started back!

And yay to our two seminary teachers!

Other August McHappenings moments included...

Run, run, as fast as you can continued for Sean, Tyler, and Esplan.

Tyler and his friends thought it would be fun to run 48 miles in 48 hours.
(You can see from the before and after photos how fun that was for them!!!)

And more RUNRUN for Sean at high altitude camp.

Hey...even Amber joined in with the Harriman Trail Run.

In other news...

Emily and Mac made a quick trip to Idaho.

Emma (our little crochet princess) made this darling vest - while our Erin  prepared for her Senior year.

And the DARs kept busy in Idaho with an Ariel silks class, the county fair, gardening, and the civil defense caves.

And that pretty much consumed our August.
Looking forward to Fall y'all.
Until next month, just remember...
