Junuary

What better way to begin 2022 than with the Vittorazzos, Oliveiras, and Browns.

(Joaquim and Arabela were our President and matron in the Curitiba Temple and they were visiting their daughter Raquel and her family over Christmas. We enjoyed a delicious feijoada dinner prepared by the best cook in all of Brazil.)

Happy Birthday to Joseph on the 3rd. 

18 years old!!!

And...Happy Birthday to Christian on the 14th.

23 years old!!!

January is the month for Priesthood advancements. So...

On Sunday, the 9th, Grandpa had the privilege of ordaining Sean to the office of a Priest and Tyler to the office of a Teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood. 

Nathan had that honor of ordaining Esplan to the office of Teacher later in the month.

Meatloaf Monday was a rousing delicious success.

Thank you, Reverend Martin Luther King, for making this possible.

And while we're on the subject of eating - before there was the Sweat Shop there was the Tole Painting Group. You kids were all quite young. Perhaps you remember running around and playing at CCC's while we moms laboriously painted away on our little pieces of wood. Anyway, we had a reunion luncheon this month. 

It was fun catching up on each other's lives - especially since half of us are now in the other stake.

In Grandkid news...

Yay for Tyler with his brand new braces.

And yay for Ruby and her adorable dance recital.

And yay for another basketball season for Mac.

And yayyayyayyayyayyayyay for Hayley and Jackson!!!

(We're getting a new grandson!)

Grandma and Grandpa continued the puzzle-thon.

The Ogden Temple turned 50 this month. 

How about that?!

And that pretty much wraps up the month of January. We are still waiting for our visas, keeping away from Mr. Covid, trying to get our 'affairs' in order, and hoping that February will have enough days to get all our stuff done!
